The fluid lotus comes in chest zip which helps prevent flushing of water down your back, and provides a more comfortable fit in many surfers opinions.

The seams on this wetsuit are triple glued and blind stitched, and then sealed with Fluid Seam technology (liquid tape). This means the wetsuit is completely sealed and keeps the seams water tight, limiting the amount of water that enters the wetsuit. Extra taping on high stress areas means you don't have to worry about a seam tearing out from extra movement.
